There are just so many video ads and campaigns made with a lot of creativity to reach out to masses and deliver a simple message for a social cause. Here are some of the best video campaigns which really provoke our thought process to motivate us to think of a solution to these social issues.
- Campaign against Verbal Abuse: Just a minute’s video shows us the effect of harsh words we use at home, office or anywhere on every individual. This video clearly connects to all age groups, as I’m sure everyone at one point would have experienced this in their life.
- HIV/AIDS awareness Campaign: SEX, as a taboo in India, some of us is still hesitant to even talk about it. Focused on young youth of the country, it shows video of college guys talk about sex, compelling one of their friends for it. This award winning video definitely motivates us to think beyond sex.
- The “Jaago Re” Campaign: Even though it helped Tata tea to sell more with a better brand image, it definitely has a strong message, long ignored by each and every one of us. We all complain politicians, scams, etc,. but how many of us have actually taken steps or even cared about it. Campaign aimed at creating awareness youths to VOTE, for better politicians, leaders and for a better tomorrow, makes every citizen feel responsible for actions.
- “Classroom” video by Hindu: Politicians yelling and abusing, fighting, breaking tables and chairs, making a mess of parliament, even watching porn in mobile phone :-P. Shows typical parliamentary behavior, All this while the whole of the country’s eyes are on them and yet they don’t care to bother about their behavior. With a message “Behave yourself INDIA, the youth are watching” clearly shows how our country’s politicians and leaders influence billions in our country.
- Inspiring Action by Greenpeace: killing of whales, cutting of trees, global warming, you name it and there’s Greenpeace fighting against it. With a simple message “The fragile Earth deserves a voice, It needs a solution, It needs a change, It needs action” inspires us to look at the bigger picture of how each and every action is leading to a larger change on the very globe we live on, and how our future is at stake if we don’t take action now!!!
